Iphone blogging....genius!!!

hi, it's me Erin and ell coming at you live from my bedroom while I am feeding Missy elliotte! It's been hard to find time to blog mainly because I have raised a very poor napper and am officially a babywise failure:( there theory is to let them cry it out and I usually do at night time but during the day I have a baby who wants to nurse through all naps. I love family style napping and Sometimes I don't mind because I get to nap too but days like today I really want to be productive and that is a feeling I hate wasting! (it is a rarity:) needless to say I am nursing and blogging at he sametime as I speak/type! Hope that doesn't disturb anyone too terribly much.... Now on to more important matters I forgot to post elliottes six month stats, so Please everyone get out your elliottes statistics journals and enter this new data:)
weight 19.2 lbs 97%
height 28 inches 97%
conclusion: my baby has stopped thriving.
She also had an ear infection but is over it now thanks to amoxicciallin(sp).where is autocorrect when u actually need it?

Other news we had a garage sale yesterday! If u know me I LOVE garage sales and it was fun being on the otherwise of it for once! Ell did a great job of helping, she fell asleep in the back of a suv while her mom worked her magic. When she wasn't sleeping she was hanging out with girlfriend olive and hottie boyfriend Hudson(he has kissed her already!) I tried laying her down on my tarp of treasures thinking this would boast sales but instead almost had to bust out my baby hemlich moves due to ell trying to digest plastic. She is perfectly fine
don't you worry. She is a squirrely one and I have a sneaking suspicion we r going
to have one spicy meatball of toddler!

So I might be slacking...

Sorry to the two people that actually read my blog (yes I am talking to you Wendy and Jerry :) But I have been a bit behind.  You know, raising a husband, taking care of a baby, making sure I got my naps in...etc.  We had so much fun the past few days with all of our family coming into town to celebrate my husband's graduation!  It was such a joy to see Ell surrounded by the people who love her the most.  We ate, we played, and we took pictures of this great little visit with all 6 grandparents (and one uncle and one aunt!)  I am very proud of my baby's daddy and cannot tell you how stinkin happy I am that he is done and I am living my dream, staying home with my sweet babykins.  Here are some pictures to mark this momentous weekend.
P.S. Grandparents, please come back ANYTIME, I like to have help :)

Bathtub fun!

Splish splash Ell was taking a bath, on a Monday night!  Tonight Elliotte got the royal treatment in cleanliness, her pops and I both got to tag time the whale tub excitement!  It was the first time Elliotte has been big enough to A-sit up in her bathtub, and B- Play with (or more like eat) her bath toys! It was really cute watching her splash around.  I really like these pictures because you can really see her pearly whites.  This kid is too cute.

Houston we have Teeth! And disease...

Easter Present from Grandpa and Grandma H.!

So Its official Elliotte has her first set of chompers!  Thats right folks, her bottom two incisors are officially through the gum line!  What a big girl she is becoming!  I feel like tomorrow we will go wedding dress shopping...grrr slow down time.  Anyway she also has been very sick, in fact the whole fam has been.  Let me tell you how fun that has been....not at all actually.  It has been very challenging trying to take care of someone when you yourself feel like complete dog poop.  All I wanted to do was sleep and OD on dayquil but instead had to care for a 6 month old who was not a happy camper.  She didn't want to sleep in her crib, she didn't want to be put down on the floor, she didn't want to nurse because she can't breath through her nose, its been a snotty mess.  I think we are on the upside of things (keeping fingers crossed).  Its really sad and so incredibly heart wrenching to hear her little coughs...I just want to cuddle her up.  This weekend Josh graduations so I hope she is better by than for the family's sake.  Friday she also has her next Dr. Appt. So I will keep you updated.   Thats pretty much it for now!  Adios.
